WELCOME!! - some starter information

A workshop opportunity for creative youths: 

The splendor of being unique and creative is the main theme driving the workshop which will involve 15-20 teenagers. They will meet in the July school holidays with two local artists for what will be a mammoth creative workshop, My Way. Skills mostly in dance but also theatre, martial arts, music and comedy will be taught and encouraged then shared in an informal public performance.

Workshop leaders, Sally Blatchford and Sofie Burgoyne, both Perth girls, are WAAPA graduates and members of the local, national and international dance scene.

The workshop is a Propel Youth Arts WA project, funded by Healthway, promoting the Drug Aware message. Sofie and Sally are eager to find people from various backgrounds and levels of experience and hope that it will be an opportunity for new creative connections to be made within the group and with the broader community.

If you know of anyone who might THRIVE in this kind of workshop even if they haven’t had much experience in any of the above mentioned areas please don’t hesitate to nominate them.
Place: Karrinyup Community Centre (Next to Karrinyup Shopping Centre), Davenport St 
Dates: Monday 18^th July – Friday 22^nd July 
Times: Monday - Thursday : 11.30 – 4.00pm Friday:  12.30 – 5.00pm and 6.00pm 
Performance (half an hour lunch  break each day – lunch provided)
